fresh perennial herb comfrey
(Symphytum officinale) with its thick
grey-green leaves and bell-like white
pink and mauve flowers is used by
herbalists and cultivated in country
gardens. Yarrow is very similar in
colour, chemical composition and
action to German Chamomile and has
important emotional properties. It can
be used in summer during a high
pollen count, or at any time to maintain
easy breathing and normalise skin.
